A Spot of Poetry
I fancy myself a poet sometimes . . . .
Naked Splendor
You stood proud and bare before me
Faced with such beauty I could not ignore thee
Deep pools of pain and anguish conquered
Shared words of love I’d never heard
You begged me to join you in your naked splendor
I in need of love could do nothing but surrender
I stood naked, baring all within my heart
As we stood there you and I, we felt the loving start
Alone in the moonlight baring all for you to see
I felt no inhibitions; your naked splendor set me free
We stared; no touching needed to bring about joyous cries
My soul soaring free with the naked splendor of your eyes

Personal Private
Pulling back the covers
Unveiling my personal private place
Probing the inner space
Sinking deeper and deeper into my depth
Exploring every single part
Moving cautiously you stop then start
Again
Stretching my boundaries
Making me feel new things
My mental and emotional sings
Out joyously
As I give myself over to thee
Learning to let go
To live in this moment and enjoy this flow
Allowing you to really get to know
Who I am inside
Refusing to hide
For once giving more than my physical self
Folding back the layers until nothing is left
Granting you access to my personal private place
Trusting that with you my heart, mind and body is safe

Abstinence - Doing Things Differently
Don’t want to lose myself to guilty pleasure
Just want to hold this moment close, a timeless treasure
I yearn to feel your skin
But something deeper moves within
Your touch I’m sure can make me soar
But this time around I’m seeking so much more.

Mother
I remember sitting at the table
Watching you prepare love
To nourish our souls, thinking This is who I wish to be
When I grow up.
You were then and you are now
My perfect example of a
Woman, mother, and friend.
